tribute to daddy

my dad is a busy man. when i was very young, around the age of 2-3 y.o, i seldom spend my time with daddy. he always busy with work outside, so i spent most of my time with mommy, grandma, and other relatives. he go to work at the time while i'm still sleeping, and go back at the time i go bed at night. i even remember calling my uncle as 'daddy'.

my dad is a teacher. the other thing i remember about dad is the time when i study with him which was around elementary 3 until middle school 2. he taught me almost every night, mostly on subjects i hate the most: physics and math. he did that after work, and the smell of his sweat decorates the atmosphere. sometimes he is very strict and won't let me go until i understand fully on that subject. sometimes i go bed on 1 AM or 2AM, and have to wake up on 6 AM to go school.

my dad is a chef. he once cook omelette for the whole family. okay, maybe not once. let's make it twice.

my dad is a knight. when there was a big riot in 1998, he sent me, little sister, and mommy to singapore. he stayed back home to guard our house. i asked him "how if there is any rioters succeed to go into our house?" and he answered "it's either he dies or i die."

my dad is an ordinary human being . he once said napoleon attacked rome in jesus christ era. he said is-tikhal mosque located in jerusalem (which is very wrong. for the fact, the mosque is located in tangerang, near my home). for his own birthday, he bought himself one mini scooter (and it ends up in the garage) as birthday present.

my dad is just like most typical guys. he forgot birthdays, like brand new gadgets, love his big home theater screen complete with the sounds, not too picky about food, like to wear certain brand of apparels, and play golf.

my dad is a man. he leads, protects, provides, has integrity and courage.

my dad is a good husband. he loves my mom, and cares for his in-law parents. he has the five pillars of manhood.

my dad is a great daddy. he care for his three loving children, concerns about my studies and (of course) the future man whom i gonna choose to be with for the rest of my life. he concerns for my health due to many organizational activities that i joined.

i love you daddy.
