i've seen pretty girls in beautiful clothes with cute accessories and somehow it raise up some thoughts: am i too careless in my fashion sense? i mean in terms if i compare myself to other classmates, buddies, or anyone i saw on TV drama or somewhere else, you can know me right away even with your eyes closed. i always wear t-shirts to school and pants, and now with my current backpack, and sandals (first time using the common type sandals, and had to keep using it to reduce my depreciation value for each step i made). i don't put any make up on me (only sunblock to... block the sun off course), nor i do my hair. feels comfortable, feels free, feels good.
then i looked other girls in the lecture hall. they put on make up, have their hair done, beautiful dress with an overall matching style. compared to me, they look like... much professional, much mature, and have the "university girls" look. and me? confirmed secondary school one. i wonder if those secondary students would use this so called "gembel" style.
i object those who rely on make up and fashion styles as a measurement to get attached. i'm not saying putting on make up is bad, nor the same thing with daily styles. those are good, and help you to enhance your beauty, but they're not a must. i mentioned before how careless i am in dressing myself in daily terms, but in my high school and before it was worse. oversize t-shirt matched with 3/4 oversize pants, never done my hair, didn't wear contacts, same hairstyle. super duper ignorant. however on that time, i entered into my first relationship with a guy. so that means there are something beyond beauty. for those who can't accept me the worst, they're not even deserve me the best.
note: i seldom put on make up, but at least i do my skincare regime in the same level as other girls as well. starting from cleanser, facial wash, toner, day cream, sunblock (if it's a day), night cream, lip balm, lip butter, body butter, vitamin e mask for once a week, egg white mask for twice a month, peel off the dead skins twice a week, and they're still exclude bathing regime.
