the life after death

turned up with a conversation with someone i barely know. a stranger indeed.

stranger: God, gods, or no god?
me: GOD
stranger: what variety?
me: depends on how you define "variety"
stranger: like... christian, jews, baptist
me: christian.
stranger: hmmm.. okay
me: how about you?
stranger: none. i'm free from it.
me: a freethinker, i may say?
stranger: there is no title for it. but if you want to address it that way, you can.
me: well, can i ask you a question?
stranger: yes please
me: what do you think about life after death?
stranger: it is an oxymoron, i should say. life after death.
me: indeed. for those who have religion, they have the slightest hope for it. but then ,how about you?
stranger: i don't believe in it. so it just makes time so precious to me. you only live once anyway.
me: so how about eternal life?
stranger: i will just make my way somehow, making influence to anyone i meet. then it will become a ripple and that's how i live after death
me: then you shall live your life to the fullest
stranger: yes, but don't let anyone define how full is the fullest. let yourself define yours.
