i took flight back to singapore on 28 dec 2014, which was on the same day as the missing air asia incident. it has been on the news since morning (by the way, i'm taking the night flight), before i went to church.

on 29 december morning, i went to office as usual, and found bunch of christmas presents were lying on my desk. took a picture, and starts to work as usual.

my boss and my supervisor came in. they come to my desk straight and ask which flight i took.

"i'm taking airfrance." i said.

"what time is it? from where? so you took the flight as the same day as air asia? do you know it went missing? I WAS SO WORRIED! lady boss even bothered to check the passenger list and found there is 1 passenger named FRANSISCA! she's not sure what is your sure name, so she asked other colleague to check your full name!"

that moment, i understand what this quote really means:

i AM blessed

we used to think things are supposed to work in proper way, by default. often, we took it for granted and forgot that even the work of simplest thing is a blessing in disguise.

how you wake up in the morning perfectly fine.
how you took bus and reached office safe and sound.
how you can work with peace of mind, without any fear of natural disaster or whatsoever.
how you can have your lunch and decide what you want to eat.


well, we are blessed indeed.
