when the sun sails and the moon walks

it is the beginning of spring season, and the weather has been awesome. wait, how can it be?

okay, if you stay somewhere around equator, you will notice the weather is pretty much boring: either it's a rainy season, or monsoon. oh, don't forget flu-fever-cough season during the transition.

personally, i prefer rainy over monsoon.

it would be the perfect weather to just pull up your warm blanket and snuggling like a stuffed burrito, or reading a book with a cup of hot chocolate  topped with marshmallow. 

it would start around november (a.k.a the cold november rains), and getting better in december to chinese new year (when sun is up high and cool breeze whispers).

there is a song in chinese which used to mark the end of winter season:

"the winter has come to an end

that's really good news

the warm breeze of the spring

will wake up the earth

the heavy snow has melted

the plums are about to blossom

the endless dark night is over

we hear the crowing of a rooster"

let me just take my book, a sip from my hot tea, and enjoy while it lasts. 

winter is about to end
