some people are just meant to be gone

"do you think we are on the grey area now?"

"yeah. it was clear as black and white back then, but now everything depends on how grey it is."

"how do we judge it then?"

"it depends on you. do you go left when nothing is right, or do you go right when there's left? ultimately, it goes back to the life values you're holding to. while in theory we should do what is good and right, yet realistically the extremes exist. what is good? what is right? when there is no flawless definition, loopholes exist. be careful for loopholes twister, as they will create transition between grey tones."

"who are the loophole twisters?"

"they might be someone you know, who are in the state of confusion in determining what is 'fun' to do for life. as they explore their options, they became vulnerable for being too open. they might try risky and unhealthy stuffs, and yet when you talk to them for how bad it is, they came up with excuses to justify their actions."

"if that's the case, should i insist or leave it be?"

"just leave it. to the very least you've done your job as a friend. whether they change or not, it's their choice and choices always come with risks and consequences.  after all, it's their life, not yours. relax, you can't please everyone, can you?"

... but then, it might be too late.
