it's going to be a huge leap, living in different place with no relatives, different culture, and what else? a (proper) english speaking country?

come on, living in singapore doesn't make your english good. it ruins it!

let's see some examples:

proper english: where are you?
singlish : you at where, ya?

proper english: wow, it's surprised me!
singlish: SHIOK!

proper english: where do you want to go for dinner?
singlish: makan mana?

proper english: sure, don't worry. i will do it.
singlish: can.
