"well, nobody knows. let's just hope for the best."

"pray for the best. keep your faith in God and trust His plans. anyway, if you want to go australia, just go. you don't have any dependents now and the time keep on ticking."

"true. but if i don't get permanent residency here, i won't have any security to secure the job when i'm back from australia."

"let me ask you a question: do you put your security to the permanent residency status, or to God? if it's God's plan, do you not have faith that He can place you back to singapore even without permanent residency? are you counting on your permanent residency rather than God?"
